I Dreamt You'd Come
Syrus Marcus Ware

I Dreamt You'd Come took place in October 2022 on the traditional territories of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

"I've been having recurring dreams since i was a child. In my 20s they happened once a month. In my 30s? They happened every other week. When i turned 40 i had the same dream for three years straight. When Australia and the Amazon caught fire from human activity in 2019, the dreams shifted- just before the pandemic. Ive now had a new dream that has repeated daily since January 2020. I have been trying to make sense of these dreams- the meaning of repetition and this great mystery we are living in.

I have created some multiples that reflect some of the more curious elements of the dream- elements that on their own have a unique meaning and an even more curious interpretation when considered together."
